Before we can issue a certificate, you will need to generate a Certificate Signing Request (CSR).

What is a Certificate Signing Request (CSR)?

Certificate signing request (also CSR or certification request) is a message sent from an applicant to a certificate authority in order to apply for a digital identity certificate.

It contains information that will be included in your certificate such as:
- Organisation name
- Common name (domain name)
- Location
- Country

Here is an example of CSR generation:

	I don't have my CSR ready. I will submit it after I place the order.
	I don't have my CSR ready. I want to generate one now.
	Yes, I have CSR ready.

Common Name: Continue

The Common Name is a domain name like example.com. To secure https://www.example.com your common name must be www.example.com
